Obituary for Dorothy M Sturm

Dorothy Sturm passed away peacefully at the age of 93, with her family by her side.. She is survived by her son, Karl Sturm, her daughter, Karen Chronister, three grandsons: Scott Chronister Andrew Sturm, Eric Chronister,
two great-grandchildren: Cade Chronister and Laura Chronister, one brother and one sister. After graduating from Nowata High School in Oklahoma, Dorothy moved to Coffeyville, Kansas where she worked as a bookkeeper for the Ivan Morrow Foundry. She married Robert (Bob) Sturm, and together they owned the Sturm Fixture Co. Dorothy was very active in the Beta Sigma Pi Sorority while residing in Coffeyville. After retiring from the store fixture business, Bob and Dorothy moved to Grand Lake in Oklahoma. Dorothy later moved to the Tulsa, Oklahoma area following the sudden death of her husband at the age of 69. She worked as a bookkeeper for Lukken Steel Construction for several years and was a member of the Asbury Methodist Church. She continued her participation in the Beta Sigma Pi Sorority while residing in Tulsa.
