Dighton-Moore Funeral Service

Having been a resident of Owasso for 30 years, it only seemed natural to establish a business within my hometown that serves the people in my own community.  After stumbling into the funeral business, a couple years after graduating from Owasso High School, I knew the funeral business was a path I wanted to pursue further and make it a foundation in my career.  When the opportunity to purchase a funeral home in Owasso presented itself, my family and I did not hesitate.  We purchased Dighton-Moore Funeral Service on Main Street in Owasso in 2021.  This establishment has been serving the families of Owasso and surrounding communities with the highest level of care since 1962, and with our new ownership we are honored to continue that service.

As a born and bred Oklahoman, I attended the University of Oklahoma and expanded my career in the funeral business selling pre-need insurance in Oklahoma and several surrounding states.  Selling pre-need insurance opened many doors for me in the funeral industry and allowed me to become a little more embedded with people within my community.  Pre-need insurance plays such an important role in funeral planning.  I cannot emphasis that enough.  My advocacy of selling pre-need insurance has also led me to holding a national level managing position with a top pre-need insurance company.  Obtaining pre-need insurance is a powerful way of communicating how an individual would like to leave this world.  When I am meeting with individuals who are interested in pre-need insurance, I reiterate that none of us have a choice in how we enter this world, but we do have a choice in how we would like to leave it.

My family and I humbly thank you for allowing our family to serve yours.  Dighton-Moore will continue to be family owned and operated and dedicated to all the families we serve.  Our number one goal is to hold ourselves to the highest ethical standards and practices while providing meaningful and personalized services to each family.  We will always strive to exceed the expectations of each family we serve.
